From our Swanndri Merino Flexiwool™ range, the Rakaia is a jacket with zip front and two zip up pockets. The secret of Flexiwool™ lies in the use of 100% pure New Zealand Merino wool. The Flexiwool™ is so much softer than ordinary woollen fabrics it won’t “prickle” even when you wear it next to your skin. The 500gsm heavyweight wool fibres lock together and although the jacket is light it gives excellent wind resistant properties. Plus the increased elasticity gives maximum comfort and movement. Flexiwool™ has the ability to regulate the heat build up and reduce stored heat, creating a more stable body temperature. Ideal for men and women.
